Different field types for Android keyboard to work with

Last week we had a customer, who wanted to have the feature of different keyboard types being used for their stuff.

So for example if a field type is numeric, then the keyboard would only show the numeric numbers.

The problem is, that the field types in the Produmex Scan App are all alphanumeric. Even those who are clearly not alphanumeric such as Quantity of items.

So my feature request would be:

If a field of in the database is shown in the app to a user, then it could be the same field type in the screen as in the database, so the android keyboard can trigger with other overlays such as numeric etc.

  Jan, this idea makes perfect sense in today’s context. I’ll assess whether it’s feasible within the current version, and if not, I will definitely take it into account as part of the frontend modernization this product requires.
