Hi Thibault, have you tried using the ad-hoc picking flow with a movable location? during the packing process, you are able to enter the weight and dimensions.

Thanks for the reply Jorge, very correct. I see that in case that the customer is not using packing this is a very good suggestion Thibault. I can't promise anything but I add it to my investigation list.

I found out that my customers often use Ad hoc picking to pick big orders where they usually pick logistic units from non picking locations. Most of these customers don't need the packing low, they tend to pick directly on an SSCC and do more of a pick & pack process for those logistics unit.

Also, customers using the routes have to use the Ad hoc picking flow if they want to pick in the right order and therefore loose the ability to enter SSCC dimensions at the end of the picking flow.

Even picking for a customer collect might need the SSCC dimensions in order to evaluate what vehicle is needed to pick up the goods. Some customers that come to pick up their goods are also businesses with different trucks or vehicles.

The ad hoc picking should not be different than regular picking when it comes to pick & pack and we should be able to get the information needed.
