Enable "autoupdate" of the android app

Today i manually updated 10 mobile devices to a new version and came up with the following improvement idea: At the moment when you try to log into a database running a different version the app prompts" client version is different from server version". It would be very nice and convenient to then allow the user to download the new apk from the server (service broker). That would really streamline the whole update process, as you just would have to upgrade the server and the clients update themselves "automatically". As the download size is rather small the users won't loose much time waiting for the download and installation. 

I would be very glad if that idea finds its way into the product. But I am also very open for different options or best practice examples on how to update the clients fast, and convenient.
