Charging a flat percentage-based fee automatically via iPayment?

Hello All,

I'm trying to charge a flat 3% "Credit Card Processing" fee via iPayment.  I have reviewed the manual and other documentation, and am not seeing anything about this, though it is possible I just missed it.

This fee would be applied when the CC is processed/charged.  I realize that I can pre-authorize charges and add an add'l percentage amount, but I am trying to actually charge the customer 3% of the order total.

Is this possible?

 

Note that we do also use B1UP, so if a Boyum config is needed, I can do that as well, has anyone written this already?

  I have two clients who are also needing this function.

  With the credit card companies charging so much in fees now, companies are needing to pass this along to their customers.

  Please consider this request and add it to the road map.
