Route picking should be a regular picking process (not ad hoc picking)
Route picking should be considered a regular picking process and not ad hoc. Clients that use Routes to pick and ship orders loose all functionalities of the regular picking flow like:
- usage of logistic carriers
- disabling of visible UOMs
- FEFO, FIFO and other order by functionalities
- directed picking
Route picking should follow the same rules as the picking flow because it is not different than wave picking or other regular picking.

Completely agree with Francine,
We need to use the route picking functionality because we are sending out multiple truck loads a day. The route picking functionality helps us to give the logistics employees the overview they need to make sure every pick list that needs to be shipped in this route is picked, and than loaded through the load route option to make sure no SSCC's are left behind..
however using this type of picking means that we currently cannot use the food standards that are available in regular picking options like the usage of logistics carriers(with value!) , FEFO,FIFO functionality and more..
