UDT Object Type for UDT Handler
Hi,
Does the object type matter for the UDT Handler?
I created a UDT with object type 'No Object with auto increment' yet when I create a UDT Handler UF I can still see the code and name fields.
I created a copy of this UDT under No Object and it worked just fine.
Does this mean auto increment does not work with the UDT Handler?

I am having the same issue with a UDT created as "No object with auto. increment" with 148 columns.
The Code and Name columns are being shown which is not desired.
As mentioned on the help page this should work:
Please note this feature is only for UserTable of type "No Object" or "No Object - AutoIncrement". For UDTs of the "Master Data" or "Document Data" you should use SAP's built in features

Same here, on B1UP 2025.04 on HANA.
The Code and Name columns are being shown which is not desired.

I also have the same issues with the UDT Handler: 1) It does not recognize UDTs created with the setting 'No Object With Auto Increment' AND 2) There is no way to disable / hide the Code and Name fields.

Dave Gutman Yannick Fetet I created a support ticket for this issue and in the end below was the explanation on their side. Your only option is to recreate the table as "No object"-type without the auto-increment. If you require the "Code" and "Name" columns to be automatically filled, there are functions in SQL/HANA that can do this for you.Hi Maarten,
Thank you for your patience. I have discussed your issue with our developers, and they have checked and confirmed that this behavior is expected. When you set 'No object with auto increment,' the column for code and name becomes visible.
We will update the manual to avoid any confusion related to this topic. In the meantime, we are going to mark this ticket as solved. Your additional comments will automatically reopen the ticket in case you need further help.

Hi Maarten, thanks for following up this FR with a support ticket, it increases that 'touches' within Boyum that this gets.
In my case, we considered redeploying the table with the No Object option and without the auto-increment and determined that this is not possible for us.
In my opinion, the object of this Feature Request forum is for us a user and partner community to influence how Boyum allocates the portion of their development budget that is dedicated to customer / partner requested changes. We know that Boyum uses our own voting (blue Vote button) to help them weigh the relative importance of each Feature Request.
