Using hidden data items to sort a grid in B1UP Dashboards

Ron Zwijnenburg

Hello,

Is it possible to use a hidden data item to sort a table  in a B1UP dashboard?

For example I want to sort a table by date, but in the table the date is formatted as month-year, while it has to be sorted as year-month. So not like 2021-12, 2021-11, 2022-01 but like 2022-01, 2021-12, 2021-11. The field with the value month-year has been added to the rows and the field with the value year-month has been added to the hidden data items (dimension).

Thanks,

Ron

Yes, just right click on the attribute you want to sort according to the hidden data item and choose the date item you want to sort

    Hope this helps

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately I can't choose the hidden field (GeplLevDat) to sort.

    Kind regards,

    Ron

Ok, not sure then. Have you tried moving GepLevDat to Measures?

    Hi Patrick,

That works! I had not seen the option Mode under More in the menu.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Kind regards,
