APS sheduling, time reservation on resource group double the necessary time for routing position
Hello,
when sheduling work orders with APS there is a behaviour regarding time reservation on resource groups I do not understand. Maybe somebody can explain to me.
In the routing position for an item a resource group is entered as resource (group nacme SÖ1). For SÖ1 the direct capacity planing is enabled. In the routing a certain time per produced item on SÖ1 is entered. After forward sheduling via APS when checking the sheduling, the reserved time on the for the routing position on SÖ1 is double the value it actually should be if you multiply numbers of items to be produced with necessary time per item. See screenshot of work order and work order routing position attached. The work order is for 10 pieces, according to routing position time reservation on SÖ1 should be 0,76 h but beas reserves 1,539 h.

The funny thing is: for most work orders in the APS planing scenario the time reservation is correct. The other funny thing is: if I update the routing position in the work order, suddenly the time reservation is correct. After updating the whole work order ("Struktur aktualisieren") the time reservation goes back to the wrong value.
Any idea what the reason might be?
Thanks in advance
Patrick

Hi,
(
(
(Machine time + Labor time + Mach+labor time)
if "per assembly" > 0 then
(* (Order Quantity + Scrap) : (per assembly))
: Utility factor
* Work steps
* (1 + scrap factor : 100)
)
+ Set-up time
)
* Time factor (1 for minute, 60 for hours)
* 100/Efficiency rate in %
==> One reason can be the Efficience rate defined in resource or scrap factor in folder extented

Hello Martin,
thanks for the promt reply. I checked all factors in the formula (especially efficiency rate, scrap factor) and none of them explain the behaviour I observe. Like I said the funny thing is: after changing a random parameter in the routing position to a different value and then without confirming (Aktualisieren) the change of the routing position switching the parameter back to the initial value and the confirming leads to change of the reserved time (But actually no parameter of the routing position has been changed).
Question: I changed in the routing position catalogue (Arbeitsgangkatalog), the master data (BEAS_APL) and in the work order (BEAS_FTAPL) the ressource allocation from percent to simple (Einfach). The entry in the field Mermaschinenbelegung_ANZ stays at the value 100 (as it was enterd for Percent) and cannot be changed. You think that this could have anything to do with the funny behaviour?
Thanks in advance
Patrick
