Enhanced GDPR Process
AnsweredUsing the standard GDPR process within SAP Business One is not ideal for a one time customer.
If you have a BP setup such as Amazon, where you import orders from Amazon with contact and address details that are only stored in the order, delivery & invoice in the ship-to address fields, its impossible to select just one or two of the orders and complete the GDPR process on these only without effecting all orders and BP account.
After running a profile on the SAP process it seem that SAP run a bunch of Update statements against the docentry of all the effected marketing documents that replaces the data in the marked fields with the '*'.
It would be great if Boyum could enhance the GDPR process to be a bit more selective in terms of the targeted data to remove, such as searching for document address details and then only replacing specific order, delivery and invoice fields with the '*' where needed.

Hi Simon
Thank you for the request... While I see the point I think this request is more something for SAP Directly than us as while we could do something that selectively changed to * on the sales order level (you could actually do it here and now using Master Data Manager), it is also something that needs to happen on Delivery and Invoice and there the DI-API do not allow us to update (due to it being legal documents)
