Return I-verions to previous state where available for all items
When I-version was first initiated, it provided the ability to be used as a drawing revision tracker.
Current functionality has disabled this feature for all items except batch and serialized items.
When we revise an engineering drawing, we follow these rules (baseline for aerospace industry)
1. A revision means that there is no change to fit, form, or function of the part and the part does not need to be segregated in inventory.
2. A new part number is used when the change affects fit, form, or function. This is because the parts are different and are not directly interchangeable.
Example: I create a revision to correct a typo, loosen a tolerance on a part, revise a note to better clarify intent, add a drawing view to provide better definition of a feature, etc.
In all these cases, the part has not changed.
Request: Turn back on I-version for all items in order to make it usable for industries that follow the above design rules.
Currently there is no other BEAS Manucturing capability to track drawing revision anymore since this feature was limited to batch and serialized items only.
