Web-to-app link support in outlook Answered

Ramon Duunk

When customers answer a email with a question we have placed a piece of text to identify to which quote/order/delivery they are referring to, since a reply email does not contain the attachments we have sent them.

It would be cool if we can create a link (B1UP://) to open the document directly from a email.
Just as the golden arrow links in crystal reports can in their viewer (http://$b1$/link?table=)

    Hi Ramon

If you see the mail in the Web-view on the B1UP Dashboard Browser Widget. Then this is already possible: https://help.boyum-it.com/B1UP/deep-linking.html

Having it work directly from a browser or MS Outlook is technically possible but would require some low level Windows Code (aka there is no official API to do it easy) :-/

    Hi Rasmus,

Thanks, and you understood correctly, it would be best in outlook, because we also need the native drag and drop for the attachments. I just realized how many times i enter a docnumber and thought maybe there is a quicker way.
