Web Dashboard to handle logued user as parameter
AnsweredDears,
Following this request, and the current position of BOYUM on this topic :
We think that an exception has to be made for the connected user parameter because :
- It is mandatory to log in, to be able to access the Dashboards on the web interface so : the user code is already known by the web application.
- It is not possible to ask our customer's that they need to create one widget by user if they want it to be filtered to the user's data. (for some customers we are talking about more than 60 users, with up to 5 dashboard widgets each.
Or maybe this already is supported and I did not found it in the online help and documentation?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards

Hello Guys,
What are the news on this topic? We still have customers that are about (and worried) to create 300 dashboards so that all their users can access their own performances reports.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Best regards

Hi Yannick,
It is not yet scheduled, but if I understand the second request correctly you are asking if it is possible to make a dashboard User-specific aka this (BOY_USERNAME)
Then that should be supported already

Hello Rasmus,
OK I get it indeed : if we use BOY_USERNAME parameter, the WebDashboard is able to apply the filter.
I was testing with BOY_USER parameter, which is not handled by WebDashboard apparently.
Thanks for the information.
