UFFE CSV UTF-8 Without BOM Not planned

Simon Simms

When using the UFFE to create a CSV file using UTF-8 the export file is UTF-8-BOM.

It would be very useful if this could be UFT-8 Without BOM as lots of integrated systems do not import smoothly with the BOM associated to the encoding.

Could this be another option in the Encoding List something like Unicode (UTF-8 Without BOM)?

FYI: We only count 1 vote per company so no need to vote multiple times like this...

Rasmus Jensen I don't suppose there is any news on whether this is likely to be included in an upcoming release? I have the same issue with UFFE.

    Hi Stuart

There are no plans at the moment to include this, but I can see it have gathered a few votes so could come into question in H2 2020

    Hi Stuart Blackwell.

I overcome this issue by using a different encoding.

try using iso-8859-1, it worked fine for me.

Since an Encoding already exist thatcan do this I've marked this as not planned. Please comment if you think this is not the right decision
