B1UP Export to Excel Answered

Kathleen Payne

It would be beneficial to be able to export directly to Excel and not just XML, CSV, etc.

    Hi Kathleen,

You mean by using the File Exporter Universal Function?

We are running Version 2024.02 of Boyum Usability.
The excel export still does not seem to be manageable via UFFE, using a workaround now via crystal reports and XLS save action with B1 print and delivery.

Would like to add my vote to get this functionality to be able to dump Excel files into a folder (also unattended and scheduled) so non-sap users in company can be provided with  (read only and up-to-date) SAP data in Excel form. This, where emailing of data as a report / attachment is an overload because of regular updates.

It would be preferred if output of (for example) a SQL Report Universal function could be used for this so the SQL source can be maintained at one location.
