B1 Print and Delivery - SSL connection available Completed

Luca Turcato

Hello,

we found out B1P&D cannot afford SSL SMTP configuration: logon error with every configuration.

As your suggest in ticket #79778, we kindly ask to include this feature in future release in order to use B1P&D with common SSL webmail services (i.e. Google/Aruba).

Kind regards.

Luca Turcato

I think Gmail uses TLS, is your TLS box ticked on the SMTP config ?

Gmail is working, my fault, my main problem is with Aruba that uses only SSL.

IMHO It sounds like Aruba need to step up the game and begin offer TLS instead. SSL has been deprecated since 2015 and has a number of vulnerabilities so should not really be used by anyone anymore: https://www.globalsign.com/en/blog/ssl-vs-tls-difference/

    Hi Rasmus,

we solved by using the TLS standard port (587) and same credentials, Aruba doesn't provide this in documentation but it works.

    You can close.

    Thanks for your help.
