Will be possible in B1UP 2019.03 using the new SetCaption($[$item.0.0]|<newCaption>); command

I'm afraid that is not something that is possible at the moment. Could you explain the business case so we can evaluate the DRQ?

Marked as not planned until we know the business case

    Hello Rasmus,

My apologies for not replying I haven't been in the office. My particular business case is not a majorly urgent one its more of a nice to have.

We have a couple of buttons that trigger outside tasks or systems to start running. It would be really helpful to our users if the text of the button changed once it has been clicked.

    An example would be:

We have a sister freight forwarding company whose system we can integrate with by means of XML. When we click a button on a shipment it triggers our Task Management software to query the database and then create that shipment on our sister companies system to help avoid duplicating work. It then via means of a UDF creates a link between the two systems which we can then push updates to the freight forwarder. It would be great if the button when not clicked says "Book Shipment" and then when the link has been made the text could read "Update Shipment". It would make the system simpler and easier to use.

I hope that made sense :)

    Thanks

    Olie

So you would like the same button to do two different sets of logic based on a UDF (Controlled by a B1 Validation or Macro)? Ok, Lets see if other people want similar and it gets some votes
