how to increase the length of UDF name for Universal Functions ? Not planned

Hi,

I am trying to set column whoes udf field name is DRUMMATERIAL, with comming from result of query. But it gives me error.

I decided to try another udf field for example U_NOTE, this worked.

I noticed  query didn't work when the length of udf field name exeeds 10 characters.

what should i do now ?

Is there any configuration page for this issue ?

    Hi Erol

    This is, unfortunately, a limitation of the SAP SDK and not B1UP itself. Despite being possible to have column UIDs that are longer than 10 chars the SDK can't reference them.

    We have informed SAP about this limitation a long time ago but that is yet to address it :-( 

    Should SAP fix in in the underlying framework, then it would begin to work automatically in B1UP so I will mark this request as not planned as only SAP can fix
