Print and delivery: See if emails have been sent in docstatus of document
AnsweredHello,
SAP 10 supports now to see whether a mail has been sent out of a document in sap.
It seems that they are just looking in the table OEML and watch out whether an entity related to this document is in there or not. However this only works when I´m using the sap-standard mailing, as it has to be logged in the table OEML.
In B1UP there´s only an option to set the printed-flag while emailing a document. So it would be nice, if the we could also see whether the document has been printed or sent via mail using B1UP´s report actions.

Hi Daniel
The Email Table is unfortunately not exposed in the SAP SDK so we are not allowed to manipulate it at therefore can impact the status beyond Open and Open (Printed).
But just to be sure; are you aware of the B1P&D Delivery Log? It is an extensive version of the Status Field: https://help.boyum-it.com/B1PrintAndDelivery/b1printdeliverylog.html

Hello Rasmus,
that´s unfortunate.
Yes I know about the Report log, which B1UP is offering, but it would be much more appreciated by our customers if they could see whether the Document has been printed or sent by mail directly in the status of the document insted of having a look in the report log which means executing an additional action when they navigate trough the documents. -
A visual aid can be achieved using item placement & a few validation rules.
I have just configured this in a demo system as I think this could be of use to some of my customers
One thing that would be handy is if the Item placement tool could have a formtype that covers all marketing documents as they are very similar in display format rather than having to create multiple Item Placements for each form type that will create the same content.
