P+D changes DEFAULT Report Configuration without sense and without notification Completed

If I have a DEFAULT Report Configuration (like DEFAULT DELIVERY NOTE) and I make a copy (as TEST DELIVERY NOTE) then the newest copy becomes automatically DEFAULT (without any notification). If I make 10 copies, then the DEFAULT changes 10 times. If my colleagues use the print buttons meanwhile it would be a fluke which template is printed.

Suggestions:

The DEFAULT setting should not change automatically

or

The DEFAULT setting should not change automatically without notification

or

There could be a switch in the toolbox: "change default report config. autom. Y/N
