Beas QC - Action on Fail

Hi

Could you please advise how to handle the below process in Beas QC Orders?

Our client makes steel plates and have strict quality checks. The plates are all serial number managed.
Their requirement is that if a plate is failed then it needs to go for a re-run through the production process or reverted back to the raw material plate.

Depending on which measurement is failed, a different process needs to be done.

If measurement A fails, then the item needs to be reverted back to the raw material steel plate. issue and receipt. i know this can be done via Transfer -- Change current item by another one. However, can we setup the "To Item" field to be the raw material automatically? Does this require beas scripts?

If a re-run is required, then the following needs to be done.
in the OSRN table (Serial Number Master), a udf needs to be updated automatically to show the status as re-run.
Also on the OSRN table, the Lot Number field needs to be updated to show the Serial Number of first plate that was successfully passed in the Work Order.

Could someone please advise how the above can be handled in Beas?
