For customers for whom an APS is too extensive, this solution offers a very agile way for shop floor managers of managing production order backlog via a kanban flow for specific production areas. WIP limits support an automatic release of production orders for the operators.

    I'm not sure if this is similar to the above request, but I also would love to see dependent sequences enforced.

    For instance, operator A works on route stage 1 and operator B works on route stage 2.  Route stage 2 is dependent on route stage 1.  So operator B does not see the task for route stage 2 in his queue until route stage 1 has been completed.
