Sales BOM> each price list as the sum of the sub-price lists (eperiodically or per click)
AnsweredIt would be great if a Sales BOM Price would be the sum of the components.
Example:
Sales BOM Head: Computer (PriceList1 = 100 USD, PL2 = 200 USD)
Comp.1 = (PL1 = 70 USD, PL2 = 150 USD)
Comp.2 = (PL1 = 30 USD, PL2 = 50 USD)
Now Comp1. changes the prices = (PL1 = 77 USD, PL2 = 151 USD)
Then the computer should be:
(PL1 = 107 USD, PL2 = 201 USD)
Kind regards

Hi Michael
Could you explain in more detail what you mean by this request and in what way B1UP could help here?
The BOM screen already has the product price field in the lower right corner of the screen, so what is the request here?

Hi Rasmus,
a PC dealer has thousands of PC bundles (consisting of HDD, CPU, etc.).
Each article has 10 pricelists (pricelist A, pricelist B, etc.)
Each PC price is the sum of the components (this is how the desired result should be).
PC 1 pricelist A = USD 1000,- (because it's CPU is USD 700,- and HDD is USD 200,- and rest is USD 100,-)
PC 2 pricelist A = USD 2000,- (because it's CPU is USD 700,- and HDD is USD 1200,- and rest is USD 100,-)
At 8 o'clock somebody decides to increase the price for the CPU by USD 123,- for each pricelist (so he has to change 10 prices).
This HDD is built-in in 8888 PCs. So 8888 x 10 prices have to be changed.
At 9 o'clock they lower the price of the CPU by USD 100,- .....
(Other ERP-Systems have the option to set a "bundle-price". You create an invoice with PC XXXXX and at the same moment, the PC gets the price on the sum of the components for the pricelist of the selected customer.

But is that not done using this out of the box too from SAP?

(I'm not an expert in the Production part of B1 so sorry in advanced if that have nothing to do with it)

Hi Rasmus,
this function has 2 issues:
1.) you have to do these clicks after every price update (sometimes more than 50 times a day) because it is no "real-time-sum and you can't run it periodically.
2.) the much bigger issue: It is only working for 1 pricelist (the main pricelist for each article) so if you have 10 pricelists in 8888 articles you have to change 8888 pricelists from A to B and then start the wizard, and then change B to C and run the wizard again etc.

OK, Understood. We will see if this get enough votes, but I would recommend you also add this wish on: SAP Ideas place (Given that they already have half the solution it might be easier for them to enhance it then use making it completely from scratch)
