Calendar Widget- color by group

Would it be possible to color the items displayed on the calendar by group rather than doctype? Currently, all Activities are one color, all SO's one color and so on. Our customers want one level of visibility deeper if possible.
For instance, an Activity of Type: Phone Call as red, Type: Email as blue and so on. If this were done by a field similar to how your Optional SQL columns work, it would enable grouped views on more than just Activities. Warehouse line on Sales Order is a field that can be used to display groupings visually.
This is an extension of George Pachakis' existing request: B1UP Calendar- Add UDO navigation and group view.

Relatedly, and I can open a new request if necessary, is it on your roadmap to possibly add multiple actions to the Drag/Drop Action? This customer would like to re-assign SalesEmployees dynamically as well as change the date/time via drag and drop.

That is not something that is on the roadmap right now (you are the first to request it), so please add it is a new request + please describe in details how you envision how this should work (who would the drag and drop action know what new Sales Employee it should use by just doing a drag/drop to a new date (can't see how it could know))
