ANGREQ104103: i-Version Restriction (only for batch and serial number)

why is the i-Version in the item master data only for batch and serial number possible? Our customers need this function also for standard items.
We got following answer from your support (Ticket 110722) "Since Beas version 9.3 and later we have decided to change the functionality because off some functionality which does not work for standard item. I would like to ask our product manager what she can do for you, but I am afraid that she will not change it for one specific customer." Please discuss your decision and switch on this function also for standard item. If some customer of you do not like this activation you can offer a new setting in the configuration wizzard.

Dear Customer,
We experienced many issues with the standard Items because Beas did not have a properly control of the stock of the item version.
The reason to improve the function was the possibility to manage the stock of this Items properly,and with this validation we manage better the stock transactions according to the I-version, also the information on Batches and serial numbers is used by stock movements apps in Desktop and web terminal.
