B1UP starts and works very slow (HANA)

Hi,

We have installed B1UP 2020.02 HF01 version for SAP Business One 9.x in Sap Business One 9.3 PL11 HANA and its starts and works very slow.

Starting the Add-on takes 2 minutes (System log attached)
Open Forms where there are B1UP validations or field insertions take a very long time.
Universal functions and line loops also work very slowly.

 

Could it be a problem with the new version?

On another server with a version of 2019 it works normally.

  Hi everybody,

  I'm writing our solution in case anyone could be helped...

  Finally we have found the solution in the following post: https://support.boyum-it.com/hc/en-us/articles/204301358-FAQ-Performance

  In this post, Rasmus refers to Lazy-Di API connection:

  "In a few rare HANA cases, we have seen that our "Lazy DI-API Startup system" do exactly the opposite of it's intent and make the system slower. We do not yet know the root cause of this (We suspect it is due to bad ODBC Drivers or network).

  In such a situation you can try turning off our "Lazy DI-API system" via out support tool"

   

  Go to folder C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\BOY\B1 Usability Package\ResourceFolder and start Boyum Support Tool 

   

  

  After disabling the Lazy Di API, B1UP starts in 14 seconds (before +2 minutes) and the performance has improved a lot.
