BEAS - MRP Calculates raw material not necessary

Hi everybody,

We have a production item with a stock of 50 units available.

This article has a BOM with raw material items.

We receive a sales order for 50 units of the production item, the inventory status is 50 units OnHand, 50 units committed, 0 units available:

We run the MRP and do not recommend manufacturing the item (That is correct because there is stock available). However, it recommends that we buy the raw material to manufacture the item, why?

 

We do not understand why the MRP recommends buying raw material if it is not necessary to manufacture the item.

We would appreciate your help.

  Hello Sergio,

  In this case, MRP has many parameters and the case need more analysis. Please contact your local Partner. If you are a Partner, please create a support ticket.
