disabling SAP standard columns in marketing documents is not working Answered

Dear Boyum gurus

I want to disable some SAP standard columns in the Sales Quotation screen to ensure users do not click or change values in there.

I'm using the Disable column command with Macro functionality, see attached screenshot.

After issuing this command the user can still click and change values in the SAP Unit Price or the SAP Cost price.

Please advise

regards, Sotos Soteriou

    Hi Sotos,

My best guess is that either the rest of your configurations are re-enabling the fields or alternatively SAP is doing that. Either way this seems to be a complex functionality so i suggest to contact your partner in order to find out what's causing it.

I quickly tested to disable these columns and i wasn't able to change the fields or even get a focus.

    Best regards,

    Thomas

I appreciate your comments. I will admit that I did check deeper in my macros and found the bug I created.

SAP standard columns can be enabled and disabled just like on the Form Settings.

    Problem solved

    regards, Sotos
