Parameter Date showing as 31/12/9999 when report is printed. Answered

I have a bespoke Customer Account Balance Crystal Report that works fine in SAP and also in Crystal. 

When I replace the default Boyum equivalent in the Account Balance, one of the date parameter which is entered has the current date appears as '31/12/9999' when print previewed.
