Print & Delivery integration to WhatsApp for Business (via HTTP Trigger)
AnsweredHi experts,
Business Case:
Facebook has launched its API for WhatsApp for Business.
Now it is possible for companies to reach their customers from a corporate WhatsApp account.
It allows companies to send messages and files to their customers, directly to their smartphones.
Instant Messaging is a way more convenient than e-mails, especially for B2C businesses.
Usage Context:
Print & Delivery could have a new template to its HTTP Trigger Report Action called "WhatsApp for Business", which uses the Contact Person's mobile phone number to forward messages, containing attached files (if needed).
Usage Scenario:
- A new Sales Order is posted in SAP Business One
- Customer receives a message in WhatsApp like "Dear Paul, thanks for your order. For your information, the order number is 1234 and you can check the enclosed PDF for details.
- A PDF file from the Sales Order is also forwarded to the customer's WhatsApp.
User Story:
As an SAP Business One user, I want to send automated messages and documents to my customers through WhatsApp so that I can be more productive while easily reach them, enriching our relationship.
