Incoming Payments – Trigger Issue.

SAP 9.2 (9.20.140) PL: 4 (64-Bit) - Boyum B1Up: 2018.02.01.0

I’m not having any luck firing a trigger based on the following scenario.

 

1. Open SAP Form Incoming Payments (Form 170)
2. Enter a couple of characters in the NAME field.
3. Tab out of the Name field causing a selection window to open with the filtered BP’s to choose from.
4. Double click on identified BP and then the selection window closes.
5. Focus in returned back to the Incoming Payments form and the BP data is retrieved populating all the BP fields and leaving the Cardcode field (Item 5) highlighted in blue, not sure if that means a clicked event happened. Either way the trigger does not fire. Trigger Event: Choose From List also does not work.

 

I’m having an issue trying to get a trigger to fire to execute a universal function when the BP data is retrieved in the Incoming Payments form.  I’ve tried every trigger combination with no luck.  Is there a possible issue with Incoming Payments and B1UP?

  Hello Ernie,

  You shoud use Validate (Leaving the field), this trigger works when you already have a value in the field and you want to leave it.

  This should work.
