Can the bass work without an SAP environment (and SAP licenses). If not, what is the meaning of the External accounting option in the configuration wizard?

beas can work without SAP User/SAP License, but only functions, which don't need any SAP functionality, example Personnel Arriving/Leaving function via terminal.
