Documentation Correction or Clarification Answered

The documentation about the Item Master ItemCode lists a lot of information about the restrictions on the ItemCode, but does not state that the ItemCode can only be 20 characters. The Data Integration Hub will show an error message if the item is more than 20 characters, but the system appears to work even (with the exception of Data Integration Hub) for more than 20 characters. The only specification of ItemCode length is in the SAP documentation, where it says that the ItemCode length is 50 characters.

Request that the documentation be updated to show actual limit, or correct Data Integration Hub to process the items which are more than 20 characters long.

    Hi Stephanie

50 chars are allowed.  If you've a problem with integration hub in this area, please create a ticket with the used beas version number and the error message.
