The posibility to create the Dropdown fields as mandatory using the beas Usability Extention.

  general yes. In beas every field is a normal field. The dropdown functionality is only a extented property from the field.

  In dropdown fields, you can't open the right-click menu, so you can't make that field mandatory with the B1UX.
