F10256-Variants and versions in blanket agreement Planned

As MRP can take into account blanket agreement, it would be very useful if you can define in the blanket agreement the variant/version of the item (like in the row of the sales orders) and use this info to breakdown requirements in the MRP.

    Hi Massimo,

     

    Is planned to add version in more sap documents during next year. In 9.3  PL 02 is planned to add version in blank agreement.

    Also the webapps will support versions also.

    Dear Ana,

    thank you for your feedback; I would like to underline the importance of this feature: my customers use variants to manage different final finishes or final colors: but there is a big difference in purchasing if you have to produce different variants... and to assume in the MRP that the item in the blanket agreement has always variant "A"  gives a lot of errors and problems in managing purchase requests. I believe that also other beas customer using balnket agreements and variant/version should have this kind of issues.
