Allowing only date values in beas_fthaupt.udf2 with calendar popup

We'd like to allow only date values like dd.mm.yyyy for the field beas_fthaupt.udf2, maybe using a calendar popup for input. Could't find something similar in beas script documentation

  I've tried foloowing to open dropdown calendar

  windowevent postopen
  dropdowndate=<dw_1.item.udf2>
  end event

  Unfortunately that results in an error called:  "error dropdown calendar! Only fields from type char or datetime allowed..."

  But when I open the debugger it says that the field is a char(100) - where is my fault?

  Hi Daniel,

  Thank you - but in our beas version (9.0..) we don't have those fileds to specify the format and dropdown. Thats why I've tried via scripting ;-)
