Prefill Warehouse Code in Goods Receipt PO (WebApps) and other Apps

Hi all,

When creating a e. g. Goods Receipt for a Purchase Order in the beas WebApps, the Target Warehouse field is currently always empty and must be selected manually.

In many use cases, users always post to the same warehouse – depending on the user, device, or the warehouse defined in the purchase order.

Requested Enhancement:

Automatically prefill the Target Warehouse field using one of these options:

  1. User settings → default warehouse per user

  2. Device settings → warehouse based on terminal/scanner

  3. Purchase Order data → use WhsCode from the PO

  4. (optional) Global system setting → default item warehouse

Users should still be able to override the suggested warehouse manually.

Benefits:

  • Faster and easier data entry

  • Fewer clicks, fewer mistakes

  • Greatly improved usability and workflow efficiency

  • Especially helpful for fixed workstations and scanning devices

    That makes sense. Especially in the warehouse area, every keyboard input is
    a) a potential source of error
    b) an unnecessary waste of time.

    For a "standard application," such configuration options really do make sense.
