Cycle counting WMS - cost accounting data

Hello, 

After recording the counted quantity, the processing audit screen enables to see the results. Then the discrepencies can be posted for stock adjustments. In our configuration, cost center (cost accounting levels 1 and 2) are mandatory for inventory transcations. Could it be possible to have the cost accounting data in the cycle counting process especailly at inventory postings ?

  This is a long-standing issue that I've seen at several Produmex WMS installations. In one case they decided to not use WMS Cycle Counting because of this problem. 
  I possible work-around is to setup SAP Approvals for the inventory Goods Issue and Goods Receipt document for the SAP Users who are performing the WMS Process Cycle Counts function. The idea is that you could edit the draft instances of the Goods Issues and Goods Receipt documents, adding the required cost accounting data. Then Add the draft document to save it as a 'real' document. 
  This will need thorough testing and may prove unworkable if there is a high volume of generated documents.  But could be worth trying in a Test system.
