WO Document Numbering Options

customer wants to have multiple types of Work Orders - each type having a different document numbering sequence 

Example:

Type A starts with A200000 

Type B starts with B500000

but I am not sure how to set this up in beas WO Numbering

assume a beas script is required

but not sure where to start

any suggestions helpful

    Hi,

    The Wo Number is only number. 
    Only the Wo Order is alpha numeric and here you can define all in the configuration wizzard

    For work order number areas you can use customizing

    here you can chage the e_OrderNumber (BEAS_FTHAUPT.AUFTRAG)
    and e_DocEntry (BEAS_FTHAUPT.BELNR_ID)
