SAP Standard bin locations instead of be.as bin locations

Hello

more and more customers are asking if it is possible to use the standard sap bin locations instead of the beas bin locations.

In general the sap bin locations

- are more user friendly;
- are more integrated in the workflow (no open documents, etc.)
- and also there are no differences possible between the SAP onhand values
  and the be.as onhand sum of all bin locations (we had this problem in the past).

  It's planned to implement the SAP Bin management inside beas solution.

  It's planned in beas 9.3 PL 02

  Do you have any procedures to covert beas bins to SAP bins since beas support SAP bins from version 9.3 PL 02 ?

  Hi Mahesh,

  Standard procedure is not available

  One idea  is:

  - create Backup from database
  - create annual inventory count
  - export couting list to excel
  - close annual inventory count without inserting any quantity. The system will create issue documents for complete stock on this warehouse

  - Deactivate bin manage
  

  Create all Bin locations in SAP and import the Stock via SAP Dataintegration hub from the created excel list
