Validation/Universal Function protection

I need the possibility to protect the validations/universal functions i create and install in the customer environment.

I want the customer to create Validations/Universal functions by himself, but cannot modify validations/universal functions i've created.

  Hi Lidia,

  As just super users are able to change UFs and Validations, in theory regular users would not be able to “ruin” the work done by the consultant.

  The same happens with SAP Business One in general… Every customer has a super user and they can “destroy” SAP B1 configurations, queries, Crystal Reports, SQL Server configurations and even delete the database. We can’t prevent the customer’s super users to mess up everything :)

  So, my best advice in scenarios like this is to take a backup of the B1 Validations and save it for future comparisons. In this way it is easy to prove that the customer ruin the configuration himself.
