Setting BP card type to default to "Lead" in add mode

Hello. We are using SAP 8.82 and B1UP 5.1.0.0 unitl we upgrade both next week. We would like to default the card type to "Lead" when adding a new BP. I am using B1 validation as follows: Formtype: 134; Menu Uid: 1282; FormMode: Add: Event: Data Add; BeforeAction: False; ActionSuccess: True; ItemChanged: Ignore; InnerEvent: Ignore; BubbleEvent: Ignore; No condition just execute a macro which sets the value. When I go in to the BP master and put the form in add mode the card type is initially set to "Customer", it then gets set to "Lead" and then switched back to "Customer". It seems the trigger event is happening too soon. I made sure no other add-ons were running and I checked the other B1 validations to make sure nothing else was setting the value to "Customer". Is SAP setting the value to "Customer"? It seems that this should be an easy task to accomplish. Any insite anyone could provide would be appreciated as I cannot understand what is causing the value to revert back to "Customer". Thanks
