Personnel planning with APS
Nowadays, the employee is a critical resource and has the same importance as the machine itself. Furthermore, expensive machines usually work over several shifts.
The idea: Employee opens the pool list and sees exactly what he has to do. The program must therefore precisely plan not only the resources, but also the employees.
There is a table that shows which resources the employee can work on. be available to people. People are created as resources. Availability and shift times are stored in the people resource (currently missing in the standard)
The APS should now not only take into account the machine resource, but also select the appropriate and available person.
This should also work in shift operations, i.e. if a work cycle runs for 24 hours, 3 employees (shifts 1, 2 and 3) can work on it one after the other - always based on their shift time.
For example, if no employee is available on shift 2, the operation may not be started.
There must also be the possibility of defining what percentage of employees have to invest in the machines (e.g. if my multiple machine operation is possible)
I'm currently missing any approach, especially because of the multi-shift operation.
