Disable print and delivery
Hi,
I've activated the B1P&D option for Purchase Document, to test its functionalities and they are great for sending customs emails with SQL content generation.
However I would like to disable it now, but it seems that I can't: the option is grayed in "B1 Print and Delivery Startup Wizard"... Is there any way to disable B1P&D in order to use standard B1 layouts, email sending, etc?
Thanks

Hi Manuel,
Right-click on the document (Make sure you have a Purchase Order selected and are in OK mode)
Navigate to the B1 Print & Delivery sub-menu
Navigate to the first layout listed
Click Edit
Uncheck Active
Click Update

Is there a way to be able to use both the standard SAP output as well as via the Report Configuration through B1P&D?
I have a requirement where the current Crystal layout works fine via SAP (but if I try to use this through B1P&D it takes AGES to run, so I want to leave that alone), but I need the ability to print a label via another Crystal layout which I've done via P&D linked to a button with a B1 Validation Configuration.
If I make all of the Report Configurations inactive for that document, the labels triggered from the button won't print, but the screen uses the standard SAP method of producing the layout for the document works, but if I enable the Report Configuration the labels come out both when clicking the button and when I click the print/print preview button

Hi Julian,
You can create a B1UP Macro that:- Triggers the SAP print functionality
- Runs another Universal Function to print the label (function type Crystal Report)
For your Crystal that takes forever in P&D, it's likely due to the database connection. Try the following:
- Toggle between "This Database Compatible Connection", "As in report" and "This database" to see if any improve the speed.
- Inside Crystal Report, reset the database connection in Database > Set Datasource location
