Validation to check if a document is already opend by another user Not planned

We frequently run into the situation that 2 persons opened the same document to update and causing for one of them to loose the work done.
We are looking to a way to display a message when a document is opened by a 2nd person, preferrably able to show the username that already has the document open.

    Hi,

    This is, unfortunately, something we cannot create on our end, it is something only SAP could implement. The sole recommendation I can provide is for users to promptly update their modifications when they add or change a line or field in an existing document. This way, they can avoid wasting substantial time in entering changes that can't be saved due to the "another user modified table message."
