Allow emailing Crystal Reports with Parameter Variables
Not plannedA client has requested the ability to email a report with parameters.
Ideally, I could create a Universal Function, type Crystal Report and set it to "Show" Report. While previewing the report, there should an email button that triggers a Print & Delivery Report action and previews an email based on the report action template.
Alternatively, the Universal Function, type Crystal Report should have a checkbox for Email Report with a selection of a Report Action. I am OK if this functionality is only enabled when a Print & Delivery license is available.
Print & Delivery Crystal Report definitions do not allow including any parameter prompts. If I put [%0] or blank for StartDate, the report simply errors out instead of prompting me for the Start Date.

Added to internal todo but not yet planned for a specific release until more votes

This should be a great funcitonallity. I have the same request.

This feature request has been evaluated and based on our current roadmap/number of votes we are sorry to say that this request is not planned for the product.

I`ve done this using UF Crystal Reports with Multi Variables, them saving the PDF file and attaching it in Report Action EMAIL with additional attachments appointing to the file/folder.

I do hope you will reconsider this, the emailing of ad hoc reports to suppliers and customers is an essential feature for us, and they will generally have some form of parameter that cannot be coded around

Has this feature been brought out yet. I have a UF Button that opens a crystal report after parameters has been configured. I would like to ideally get a button in place on the crystal report screen that the user can click to email users a pdf copy. I like the idea of the ability to first check the report before just automatically emailing.
