B1 Print and Delivery - Email Preview when using Mass Delivery

The preview email feature for SMTP emailing is terrific, but it is not available from Mass Delivery. Here is what the client is requesting:

 

Use Mass Delivery to select invoices to email (in this case, all to the same customer).

The Report Action is set to consolidate all attachments into one email

After clicking OK, the client would like an email preview window so she can update the email address, message body, etc.

Using Outlook is not an option as Business One is running in the Cloud.

  This is not something we intend to add to the product. Preview during mass delivery could result massive amount of windows opening.

  Instead the recommend option is to use Exchange setup or Personal Exchange (that way you can use the draft feature in cloud)

  Thanks Rasmus. Ultimately what I'm trying to do is:

   - A client wants to email a Crystal Report with the preview window

  - The Crystal Report has parameters

   

  I tried 3 options:

   1) Boyum Universal Function Crystal Report: no email option

   2) Boyum Universal Function that calls B1P&D(27|EMAIL): parameters are not supported

   3) Mass Delivery: no preview option

   

  The easiest fix would be to add an email option to #1 when Print & Delivery is licensed.

  #1 is not technically possible.

  Others with similar requests use outlook drafts of MS Exchange drafts and use Outlook as preview
