2017_0_7_0 Server Component Answered

Having trouble upgrading the Server component on a Server 2008 R2 VM. Receiving the following message:

Product: B1UP Server component -- Error 1920. Service 'B1UP Server Component (Server Layer)' (Main.ServerLayer.exe) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

Product: B1UP Server component -- Error 1923. Service 'B1UP Server Component (Server Layer)' (Main.ServerLayer.exe) could not be installed.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

I have .Net 4.5 installed 

I have returned to the 2017_0_1_0 version as it installs without this issue. But I do have the issue

B1UP - Wrong server component version installed compared to addon.

Is there something I'm missing?

    Hi Aaron

    If you have reverted the Server component version back, then the Add on should be matching the same version.

    SQL Server 2008R2 is already out of maintenance, I am afraid Boyum cannot too much more help on this issue.

    I would just check my B1 version and find the matching B1 UP version and have a clean install again.  Be sure when installing, use 'Run as Administrator'
