SQL Report .Net Snippets Completed

Oliver Syner

Hello,

Not sure if this has been asked before, I did have a look through some of the old posts but didn't come across it.

Would it be possible to use .Net Snippets in the SQL Report function of the Universal Functions?

Similar to the way you are able to use it in the SQL condition part of the Validation system.

Many Thanks

Olie

    Hi Oliver

That is no currently possible. What is the use-case for needing a .NET snippet in a SQL report so we can evaluate if we can add it.

    Hello Rasmus,

In this particular instance I was trying to put together a dynamic SQL report that could be used against multiple document types. To do this i have a simple Case statement that depending on the FormType number would indicate the table name.

We already have a .Net Snippet that returns the FormType so I was hoping that I would be able to use that.

    Thanks

    Oliver

OK, make sense. I've added to our internal todo-list but it is not yet analyzed (if technically possible) or planned yet
