Save as whole Dashboard
AnsweredHi
Not sure if this is a Feature Request.
How do I "Save as" a copy of the default dashboards?
For example, I edited the sales overview dashboard by adding some new graphs, editing query and deleting 2 dashboards. So, I want to save it as a different dashboard like "My Sales overview dashboard" but I want to keep a copy of the existing Sales overview dashboard. At the moment the only option I see is to create a new one, or overwrite the existing dashboard.
Thanks

Hi Jun,
You can export all dashboards from the dashboard editor form. If you later want to discard the changes, then import it again.

You can also change the name of the dashboard in the XML file and import it if you want to see it in the system.
Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I too have done this. I exported the Financial Overview and re-imported it as Debtors overview. I see I now have two dashboards with the same "Dashboard image".
How can I clear or replace the image in my custom dashboard? Or is it not necessary?

Hi Julie,
The image column is just the picture you see when adding the the dashboard to the screen.

So no, it's not necessary to clear or replace the value. You can however double click it to show a custom picture instead.
