UFFE export leading spaces

Hi 

I'm trying to export data to an XML file, which works fine, but I woud like to nest the nodes with leading spaces, so the formatting looks pretty XML.

But spaces before the <nodename> are not exported. Also tried the $[TAB] variable, that only works after the < from the tags.

In the tutorial from Boyum I have seen that it can be done, but aparently something is not working as it should.

Any thougths on this?
